Aux Lights Holder

Third news for this winter… 🙂

I removed the crashbars doing some maintenance, and also the aux lights attached, and when doing it I remembered that…
I had forgotten an old project, started more then three years ago and then forgotten in stand-by!
So, workstation on and let’s do some nice design work!
Took the old models, printed some plastic prototypes, some checks, some euro gone in Paypal and here we are!
The Giamaicaworx Aux Light Holder is born! For time being in two versions, grey for Fedro and his Evo and in black for my Kaya! 🙂

  • M8 expansion bolt, in aluminium, similar to those used for handguards; solid and safe;
  • 5mm aluminium bent plate, made so that the aux lights are positioned right in front of the fork stanchions;
  • Attachment bracket made in aluminium, with M6 threads to attach the 5mm plate, no 3D printed parts for this job,
    we went for solid CNC machined 6061 part, similar to the ones out there for the high fender, just more solid, nicer
    and more… Giamaicaworx… 🙂

Test fitted with small lights (that I have on at the moment) and also with some Baja stile large lights, they will all fit. 🙂
It is made for the 2025 plastics, so it will probably collide with the old baffle. Probably mounting the plate upside down, or bending it a little, it will fit, but I will never know, my baffle is gone (cut) long time ago…
And yes, the support bracket attached to the triple clamp could be used for a high fender, of for the old style high fender support, or for something else, only your fantasy can limit the use of that bracket. But our plans for it have always been the aux lights, so do not expect high fender kits or similar from us: as usual, we made these parts for ourselves, and we don’t like the high fender, so…
